The intake process takes several week to complete. The process allows the therapists to determine the best treatment plan. Typically, adult intakes occur over the course of 4-5 weeks and child intakes occur over the course of 6-7 weeks. All cases are different, so the number of weeks may vary. The intake fee for the entire intake, regardless of number of sessions is $30.
In addition to meeting with the intake therapist(s), all prospective patients must complete an anonymous survey as part of an ongoing program evaluation at The Psychological Center.
To get the intake process started, call 212.650.6602 to schedule a screening appointment. After the screening appointment is complete you will be contacted by a therapist to begin the intake process.
